Asuka Period (dating from 538 to 710) : Apprentice experience with a traditional temple carpenter (Miyadaiku) at the cultural property “Former Kawamoto Residence”.
Take part in a unique experience apprenticing with a Miyadaiku, a traditional temple and shrine carpenter. This 1,400-year-old craft is listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Edo Period (dating from 1603 to 1868): Lunch at Kappo Tanaka-ya, a traditional Japanese restaurant in Yokohama
You can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine (image is for reference only) made with seasonal ingredients in a setting and building that still strongly reflect the atmosphere of its founding era in the Edo period.
Meiji Period (dating from 1868 to 1912): Sankeien Garden
Enjoy a walk through the only Japanese garden that features preserved historic buildings.
Showa Era (dating from 1926 to 1989): Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum
