It is believed to have the following effects: prevention of high blood pressure (black vinegar has the highest effect among all vinegars), improvement of blood flow, antioxidant effects, colon cancer suppression effects, allergy suppression effects, diet effects, thinning of the blood, and protection from lifestyle-related diseases.
In the late Edo period, the production of Kurozu(rice vinegar) using pots began in Fukuyama-cho, Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Tsubobatake is Traditional vinegar storage, shop, & cafe. There is also an exhibition facility where you can learn about Sakamoto's Kurozu and experience the goodness.
