【Pocketalk for Tours】
Pocketalk for Tours is an innovative real-time translation service designed to enhance communication during guided tours. It ensures that international guests can fully understand Japanese explanations in their native language.
The guide wears a headset and opens "Pocketalk for Tours" on their smartphone via a browser (no app installation required).
A QR code is generated and shared with participants. Guests simply scan the QR code with their own smartphones to access real-time translations of the guide’s explanations in text and audio formats.
No additional devices are needed for participants, just their own smartphones.
If you wish to listen to the translation instead of reading it, please bring your own earphones for the audio function.
The service supports up to 75 languages, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of international travelers.
