-Tourist Spot Introduction-
Although it is a simple-looking torii gate, this shrine is said to enshrine the most powerful god in the universe. After passing through the torii gate, you descend a flight of stairs flanked by bamboo groves on either side. It is said that a male and female dragon lived in the river that flows near the shrine. The "Married Couple Cedars" standing behind the shrine are said to bring good luck in health and finding a good partner, making it an extremely powerful power spot. Experience the mysterious space. *This tour will not stop at the Kikuchi Tourist and Products Center, where you can purchase the Fukuhebi Hakama.
Yamaga is a hot spring town located in the Kikuchi River basin that flows through Kikuchi, the rice-producing region of Kumamoto. Yamaga has flourished as a place where rice is gathered since ancient times, and the benefits of this continue to this day, such as rice koji and rice cracker factories that use rice. During the Edo period, Buzen Kaido was a bustling route connecting Kumamoto and Fukuoka on the way to Edo, the center of Japan. Even today, kabuki performances are held periodically at Yachiyoza. You can relax in the hot springs or stroll along the Buzen Kaido road and discover new charms of Kyushu.
This place is known to the people of Kumamoto Prefecture as a direct sales store for fresh eggs. They raise approximately 80,000 pure domestic chickens called "Momiji." Not only do we sell eggs, we also sell sweets such as egg soft serve and cream puffs.
If you want to enjoy fruit picking in Kumamoto, this is the place to go! Enjoy all-you-can-eat strawberries.
