- Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture preserves the original landscape of Japan. Lined with traditional gassho-zukuri houses, this village reveals its true beauty in winter, when deep snow blankets the area.
- In winter, the steep thatched roofs of Shirakawa-go’s gassho-zukuri houses are covered in heavy snow, creating a serene and dreamlike scene reminiscent of a traditional ink painting.
- The deep snow absorbs all sound, wrapping the entire village in silence. If you listen closely, you may hear only the soft fall of snow and the gentle crackle of firewood.

Important Notes During Bus Tour

- Members of the odd-numbered group may need to share seats with other passengers on the bus.

- Seating on the bus is assigned by H.I.S staff. Please do not change your seat during the tour.
- Please be punctual and arrive at the designated meeting place on time. The bus will depart on time and will not wait for latecomers.
