Cherry blossoms in early April: There are approximately 700 cherry blossom trees along the promenade of Kayocho Park. You can enjoy the cherry blossoms while walking or running. Azaleas from mid-to-late April: Best time to see them is on the west side of the park. Red, white, pink and other flowers bloom for 300 meters, coloring the park. Early May Rose Festival: The Rose Garden Rose Tunnel is 3 meters high and 200 meters long. You can enjoy the beautiful flowers and the sweet, gentle scent of roses. We will also take you to a high-quality bakery housed in an old Japanese-style building that only locals know about.

"Rose Festiva" 2026/5/10 A special event, the Rose Festival, will be held on May 10, 2026. Local dances, bands, shows, and more will be held. Food stalls will also sell local cuisine. This lively festival is held every year and is loved by locals.
Anyone aged 4 or older who can walk well on their own (strollers are not recommended) and who wants to enjoy the spring scenery, experience the outdoor lifestyle of Fukuoka residents, and is interested in photography are all welcome.
