The Tottori Real Pavilion is a tourism promotion program that transforms the entire prefecture into a grand pavilion, serving as a satellite venue for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. It offers visitors the chance to discover and experience Tottori’s authentic charm through tourism, food, and more.

Embark on a grand adventure with over 300 attractions—Tottori is a theme park in itself! Come and explore! Home page: https://tottoreal-pavilion.jp/#

Explore the all-in-one theme park experience on the Tottori Real Pavilion sightseeing tour!

  • Tottori Sand Dunes
Spanning 2.4 km north to south, 16 km east to west, with a height difference of 90 meters, this is one of Japan's largest sand dunes shaped by nature’s wonders. Enjoy a scenic walk through this breathtaking landscape.

  • Kurayoshi Shirakabe Storehouses
Lining the Tamagawa River, these white-walled storehouses, mostly built during the Edo and Meiji periods, are designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Stroll through the charming streets with red-tiled roofs and white plaster walls, where time seems to slow down.

  • Mizuki Shigeru Road
A mystical 800-meter-long street watched over by 178 bronze statues of yokai (Japanese spirits). Don't miss the newly renovated Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Hall, reopening in April 2024 (admission: 1,000 yen for adults). This beloved attraction has been ranked Japan’s No.1 sightseeing spot for a consecutive year!

Spend a relaxing two hours at Izumo Taisha, one of Japan’s most powerful matchmaking shrines!

  • Izumo Taisha, located in Shimane Prefecture, is one of Japan’s oldest and most significant Shinto shrines. It is dedicated to Ōkuninushi no Ōkami (大国主大神), the deity of matchmaking, good fortune, and nation-building. Unlike many other shrines that focus on worldly success or safety, Izumo Taisha is best known as the ultimate power spot for relationships—whether romantic, familial, or business-related.

Visit the newly opened Tottori Prefectural Museum (opening on March 30) and see the 300-million-yen Brillo Box exhibit!

  • Tottori’s New Hub for Art & Creativity: A must-visit destination for art lovers, featuring Andy Warhol’s iconic Brillo Box as a highlight.
