- This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter. The tour will visit Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace, Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Sanjusangen-do Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. This tour takes participants to famous temples, a shrine, a castle, and other majestic places of interest in Kyoto.
- This standard tour is recommended for those traveling to Kyoto for the first time.
- After the tour, participants will be dropped off at the following locations: Kyoto Hotel Okura, Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto (*limited to staying guests), Karasuma Kyoto Hotel, Sunrise Tours Desk in Avanti (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit), Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto, Kyoto Hotel Tokyu, ANA Crowne Plaza Kyoto, Kyoto Tower (Kyoto Station Karasuma Exit)
- This is a tour combining the 'Kyoto Morning' and 'Kyoto Afternoon' tours. Lunch is not included on the tour, so please purchase it on your own.

- 07:25For Round-Trip from Osaka option: Meet up at Hotel Granvia Osaka ※ Please arrive at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure. ※ After meeting up, walk to JR Osaka Station. A tour assistant will accompany you until you reach the Sunrise Tours Desk on the B1 floor of Kyoto Avanti.
- Take a train from Osaka Station to Shin-Osaka Station ※ JR Special Rapid Service, Rapid Service, or Local trains (non-reserved seats). Please note that all trains have non-reserved seating, and seats are not guaranteed.
- Shin-Osaka Station to Kyoto Station (JR Tokaido Shinkansen) ※ JR Tokaido Shinkansen using non-reserved seating. Please note that seats are not guaranteed, as the non-reserved section will be used.
- 08:30For Round-Trip from Kyoto option: Depart from Sunrise Tours Desk inside Avanti (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit) ※ Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure.
- Nijo Castle (50 min) ※ A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this castle was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate. The ornate carvings and intricate decor of the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see. ※ The tour does not include entry to the Honmaru Palace or the Painting Gallery.
- Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 Min) ※ A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this wooden structure is covered with thin layers of pure gold and is beautifully surrounded by a serene pond.
- Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 Min) ※ See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which served as the Emperor’s residence until about 150 years ago. ※ On days when the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead (with time to disembark for sightseeing). This shrine is famous for the god of learning, and its main hall is a designated national treasure. It’s especially beautiful during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.
- Lunch Time (60 Min) ※ Lunch Included Option: A Western-style set menu meal will be served. ※ Lunch Not Included Option: Please enjoy lunch on your own.
- Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (30 Min) ※ Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of around 40,000 Inari shrines across Japan. Its vibrant red Senbon Torii gates are a must-see attraction.
- Sanjusangen-do Temple (30 Min) ※ Visit the world’s longest wooden structure, home to 1,001 life-sized statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century.
- Kiyomizu-dera Temple (70 min) ※ The view of Kyoto from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu-dera is spectacular. The historic shopping street leading to the temple enhances the overall experience.
- 17:30~18:30 For Round-Trip from Kyoto option: Drop at Kyoto Avanti, in front of Kyoto Station. ※ Please make your way to your next destination from Kyoto Station on your own.
- For the Round-Trip from Osaka Option: Take a train from Kyoto Station back to Osaka Station via JR Special Rapid Service or Rapid Service (non-reserved seat). ※ This tour uses public transportation, and all trains have non-reserved seating. Please note that seats are not guaranteed. ※ You will be accompanied by a tour assistant from Kyoto Station to Osaka Station. ※ The tour will end at Osaka Station.

- If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be canceled.
- To prevent infection, please participate wearing face masks.
- On the day of the tour, a health check and temperature screening will be conducted. Those with a temperature of 37.5 and above as well as those who do not feel well may not be allowed to participate.
- The above are subject to change depending on the infection status.
注意事項
The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. If the closed day falls on the 25th, the tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple. (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event)
Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions.
Connections from this tour can be made to the "Kyoto Maiko Dinner" and "Kyoto Night Tour."
Participants will walk from the parking lot to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (about 15 min one-way). Thank you for your understanding.
The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
