Miyama Kayabuki Village is a picturesque thatched-roof village located in Miyama Town, Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture. During the Miyama Kayabuki Village Winter Lantern Illumination, about 80 alley lanterns and 200 LED lanterns light up the snow-covered thatched houses, creating an enchanting and dreamlike winter scene.

Located about 7 kilometers west of central Kyoto, this hot spring inn is nestled in a peaceful mountain valley. Legend says that during the Warring States period, wounded warriors came here to heal their injuries.

Oishi Sake Brewery is famous for its Tamba local sake “Okinazuru,” carefully brewed using traditional methods passed down for generations.
