Features of Okuhida Hirayu Onsen
- Hirayu Onsen, surrounded by the distinct scent of sulfur, is known as one of Japan’s most famous hot springs, boasting the oldest history in the Okuhida region.
- Within the Hirayu Onsen area, there are about 40 wells and hot spring sources, producing an abundant flow of 13,000 liters per minute. Reaching temperatures as high as 90°C, the waters are rich in sodium, calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate. They are said to be effective for gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatic diseases, neuralgia, and skin conditions, and have long been used as therapeutic baths.
Dinner features a special Japanese kaiseki meal prepared by the head chef! ※ Children will be served the same meal as adults. If you would prefer a children’s menu, please indicate this in the “Special Requests” section when completing your booking. Breakfast will be the same as the adult menu.

- This tour is a Japanese tour. The tour conductor will provide language support using a translator (Pocket Talk).
- This is not a private tour; you will enjoy the tour with other guests.
- If the minimum number of participants (20) is not met by (14) days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date might be canceled.
- Ropeway reservations will be handled by the tour conductor on the day.
- Hotel check-out is at 10:00. Please spend the time until departure in the lobby or other common areas (rooms cannot be used after 10:00).
- Depending on weather conditions, snowy scenery may not be visible.
- Travel time may be shortened due to traffic congestion, and arrival may be later than scheduled.
- Some parts of the itinerary may be changed or rearranged.

Important Notes During Bus Tour
- We ask for your cooperation in refraining from drinking alcohol on the bus.
- To the members of the odd-numbered group: Please be informed that you may have to share seats with other passengers on the bus.
- As it is stipulated by the law of Japan, please wear your seat belt on the tour bus.
- Please do not stand up or walk while the tour bus is running.
- Seating on the bus is assigned by H.I.S staff, please do not change your seat during the tour.
- Please kindly be punctual and arrive at the designated meeting place on time. The bus will leave on time and will not wait for latecomers.
- If latecomers wish to rejoin the group again afterward, all transportation fees will be at the customer's own expense.
- Please kindly put on the sticker which will be given to you by the tour guide during the tour, make sure it can be seen clearly.
- Please do not stick it on leather goods as seal marks may remain.
- Please do not use the seat reclining function or change the seat setting.
- Please kindly switch all your electronic devices such as mobile phones and game machines etc. to manner mode with no sound.
- Talking on mobile phones and video calls are prohibited on the tour bus.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited on the tour bus.
- Arrival time at each sightseeing sport may differ depending on traffic conditions.
