Aomori’s Nebuta Festival: Breathtaking three-dimensional floats light up the night. The Nebuta Festival is one of the Three Great Festivals of Tohoku and is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan.

The floats are pushed along the street by human power, weaving back and forth, and spinning around for the crowd. They are often as wide as nine meters and as tall as five meters! The nebuta dancers, called “haneto” wearing flashy outfits, jump and dance as they shout “Rassera, Rassera.” ・With reserved seats at the festival New for 2026: You can now choose your preferred plan!
