Achi Village Starry Sky Night Tour
Located in the mountains of Nagano, Achi Village is known as one of the best places in Japan for stargazing. Ride a gondola up to 1,400 meters above sea level, where all artificial lights are turned off, revealing a sky filled with countless stars. Surrounded by mountains and clean air, the view is truly breathtaking and impossible to experience in the city.
At the summit, you can also enjoy themed light displays, guided star explanations, and peaceful walking paths through the forest. Different zones allow you to experience the night sky in your own way, from interactive light installations to quiet stargazing areas.
Barbers Dining – Special Dinner Buffet

- This tour is a Japanese tour. The tour conductor will provide language support using a translator (Pocket Talk).
- This is not a private tour; you will enjoy the tour with other guests. & If the minimum number of participants (20) is not met by (14) days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date might be canceled.
- Free time schedules may change due to traffic conditions.
- Solo travelers or groups with an odd number of participants may be required to share seats.
- Parts of the itinerary may be changed or rearranged without prior notice.
- Stargazing is subject to weather conditions and may not be visible. The tour will proceed even in rain or snow if the gondola operates. In case of cancellation due to strong winds or severe weather, the gondola fee will be refunded.
- Please note that seating is not provided during the stargazing experience. We recommend bringing your own mat or blanket.
- As the summit of Heavens Sonohara is at a high altitude, temperatures can be very cold. Please bring warm clothing.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.

Important Notes During Bus Tour
- Please refrain from drinking alcohol on the bus.
- Members of the odd-numbered group may need to share seats with other passengers on the bus.
- As stipulated by Japanese law, please wear your seat belt on the tour bus.
- Please remain seated and avoid walking while the tour bus is moving.
- Seating on the bus is assigned by H.I.S staff. Please do not change your seat during the tour.
- Please be punctual and arrive at the designated meeting place on time. The bus will depart on time and will not wait for latecomers.
- Latecomers who wish to rejoin the group will be responsible for all transportation fees. 8.Please wear the sticker provided by the tour guide visibly.
- Avoid sticking the sticker on leather goods, as it may leave marks.
- Do not use the seat reclining function or adjust the seat settings.
