Join a special summer tour to witness the world-famous Nagaoka Grand Fireworks Festival, recognized as one of Japan’s Three Greatest Fireworks Festivals. From the Right Bank A Venue Phoenix Area Group Seating, enjoy an incredible view of the festival’s signature displays, including the magnificent Phoenix Fireworks stretching nearly 2 kilometers across the night sky as a symbol of hope and peace.
The fireworks are launched over the expansive Shinano River riverbed, allowing giant shells with bloom diameters reaching approximately 300 meters to fill the sky. The spectacular combination of large-scale fireworks, synchronized performances, and artistic presentations makes Nagaoka one of Japan’s most celebrated fireworks events.
On the second day, visit the historic Zenkoji Temple in Nagano, a revered pilgrimage site that has attracted worshippers for centuries. After exploring the temple grounds, enjoy free time along Nakamise Street and Omotesando, where local shops and cafés create a charming traditional atmosphere.
The tour also includes a stop at Konnyaku Park in Gunma, where visitors can learn about Japan’s famous konnyaku industry through factory exhibits and enjoy shopping and tasting opportunities.

- The tour will be guided by a Japanese-speaking guide. An English/Chinese-speaking assistant guide will be provided.
- If the minimum number of 25 participants is not met, or if the tour cannot operate due to force majeure such as disasters or accidents, the itinerary may be changed or the tour canceled up to 3 days prior to departure (13 days prior for tours including accommodation).
- Children below school age are not permitted on this tour.
- Single rooms are available only for guests aged 15 and above.
- The Phoenix Area Group Seating is located in a traditional box-seat area shared with other guests.
- Some low-altitude fireworks may not be fully visible from the seating area.
- The walk from the parking area to the fireworks venue may take approximately 30–90 minutes.
- Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
- There will be no lunch break on Day 1. Please have lunch before the meeting time.
- Umbrellas and chairs are prohibited in the fireworks viewing area.
- Guests are encouraged to bring a ground sheet cushion, raincoat, flashlight, tissues, and light outerwear for the cooler evening temperatures.

- After the scheduled departure time, the tour will depart at the discretion of our staff. Please arrive strictly on time.
- Scheduled times and itinerary details are subject to change due to road or traffic conditions.
- In the event of late arrival requiring taxi use or additional accommodation, we cannot accept any related claims or expenses.
- Depending on the number of participants, a medium-sized or small bus may be used.
- The bus is not equipped with a restroom. - Smoking is prohibited on the bus. Seat reclining is generally not permitted (except on select tours).
- No refunds or compensation will be provided for unused benefits or inclusions. Please note that we cannot accommodate special requests such as dietary restrictions.
- In accordance with Japanese labor regulations effective April 1, 2019, meal times during the tour may serve as the tour conductor’s rest period. In some cases, the tour conductor may stay at a different accommodation. During free time, guests are generally expected to explore independently.
- Lost items will be kept for two weeks after the tour ends. Perishable items or items difficult to store will be disposed of immediately.
- Participation with pets is not permitted.
- Bus seat assignments are determined by the company.
- In emergencies, guests may be seated together with the tour conductor.
