A New Stage of Travel from HIS Luxury Memory Bus

A premium travel experience designed for comfort and unforgettable memories. Enjoy a relaxing and comfortable bus tour on a specially designed vehicle equipped with a vanity area and restroom, plus spacious seating.

  • Spacious 8–9 row seating layout with extra legroom (standard buses have 12 rows)
  • Power outlets or USB ports available at seats (except some seats)
  • Reclining seats available
  • Comfortable space with tables and footrests
  • Complimentary oshibori hand towels available (limited quantity)
  • Restroom with vanity area: A larger powder room space compared to standard restroom-equipped buses.

Seats may be arranged in either 2+2 (4 seats across) or 2+1 (3 seats across) configurations, and seating assignments will be provided on the day of departure. For buses with 3-seat rows, even guests in the same group may be seated front and back rather than side by side. By law, seatbelt use is mandatory. Moving around while the bus is in motion may cause accidents, so please use the restroom only when safe to do so.

Visit the cool mountain power spot and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Koyasan

  • Koyasan is the sacred center of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, founded by Kobo Daishi (Kukai) in the early Heian period. It is also known as one of Japan’s Three Great Sacred Sites, along with Osorezan in Aomori and Mount Hiei in Shiga.
  • At an elevation of around 800 meters, Koyasan is 5–10°C cooler than the city, making it a refreshing summer retreat.
  • Highly recommended! A professional guide will lead you through Okunoin, Koyasan’s most sacred site. Earphone guides are included so you can clearly hear the commentary during the tour.
  • Okunoin is the spiritual heart of Koyasan, where Kobo Daishi is believed to remain in eternal meditation. The approximately 2 km approach to Okunoin is lined with ancient cedar trees, creating a serene and sacred atmosphere.

Enjoy a hearty lunch featuring local Koyasan specialties

  • Special Dengaku (grilled tofu with miso glaze)
  • Simmered Koya Tofu
  • Soy-Based “Meat” Dish
  • Konjac Sashimi
  • Japanese Pickles
  • Shojin Noodle Hot Pot (May be served as chilled shojin noodles depending on the day)
  • Sesame Tofu
  • Mountain Burdock with Plum Dressing
  • Seasonal Side Dish
  • Kinzanji Miso
  • Yuba Mixed Rice
  • Dessert

Menu items may change without prior notice depending on ingredient availability.

Admire around 100,000 hydrangeas blooming in the Sky Hydrangea Garden

  • This scenic spot is home to around 3,500 hydrangea bushes and nearly 100,000 colorful blooms.
  • Due to its high elevation, the hydrangeas bloom later than usual and can be enjoyed from early July.
  • Koyasan’s mountainous terrain also creates frequent mist, giving the hydrangeas a mystical and serene atmosphere. The tour will operate regardless of hydrangea blooming conditions.
