Tsumami-Zaiku is a traditional Japanese craftwork. Cut thin silks or crepes called Chirimen in a square and fold them to form into various shapes. It is said that the craftwork has started from Edo period. Even now, gorgeous Tsumami-Zaiku are used such as Kanzashi. Let’s create your original accessory using colorful and beautiful Chirimen!
Instructors will guide you carefully, so you can make your own accessories even if you are a beginner. Why don't you make your one and only original accessory in the world? The instructor explains how to use the tools, etc., and then the students use tweezers, etc., to pick up the Japanese fabric to make decorations.
