This 3.5-hour Japanese sake tasting tour allows you to explore Fushimi district which is nation’s second-leading sake producing area. Tour will start by taking a city bus and/or walking through the local streets of Fushimi district which will leads you to Saito Shuzo Sake Brewery for total of 90 minutes of ”actual running” brewery viewing, tasting and shopping. Shipping to hotels in Kyoto from the brewery is available with extra charge.
Leaving the Saito Shuzo Sake Brewery, transport to Fushimi Yume Hyakushu by city bus and by walking. At Fushimi Yume Hyakushu, you can try 17 different local sakes. You may also shop for some sakes and gift for yourself, family and friends.
You have an option of adding Fushimi Jukkokubune Boat Ride and/or Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum after the tour. Please note that Fushimi Jukkokubune Boat Ride is only available from March through Beginning of December.
We are offering "Trial Tour" on 1/14 at a very special price of 10,000 yen. We will ask all guests to fill out a survey at the end of the tour.
- KTIC Friends is a staff member from Kyoto Tourist Information Center. The English-speaking staff will accompany from Kintetsu Momoyamagoryomae Station.
- This is a non-licensed guide walking tour which includes walking up the mountain.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and come prepared for cold weather.
- For food hygiene and sanitation management reasons, we ask that you bring and wear a mask inside the brewery.
- The inside of the brewery is very slippery, so please refrain from wearing high-heeled shoes.

- We may cancel the tour when we do not have at least (5) participants by 2 weeks before the scheduled departure.
- Please note that wheelchairs are not accessible on this tour.
- This tour involves a walking and city bus.
- Breakfast and Lunch is not included. Please eat before you join the tour. There is no eating time during the tour.
- Please refrain from bringing suitcase for large bag to the tour.
- You may not bring underage children including toddlers and infants to this tour.

- You will receive a final information email from KTIC titled:【Tour Date】- Booking Confirmation & Important Notice - HIS【Tour Reservation Number】. Please read it carefully and ask questions if necessary.
- Please arrive at the meeting location 10 minutes prior to the departure time.
- Please bring a passport or photo ID (no digital) for shopping. You may be asked to show.
- IMPORTANT: The tour will start according to the schedule and will not wait for late arrivals.
- The schedule is subject to change without prior notice.
- Due to traffic or other reasons, the duration of visits at each destination may be shortened, and arrival times may be delayed.
- Refunds will not be provided if you fail to arrive at the meeting location on time (no show).
- In the event of a natural disaster, such as a typhoon, the tour will be canceled, and a full refund will be issued.
