Required Documents
- For Japanese license holders: Valid Japanese driver’s license
- For foreign license holders:
- Passport (original)
- International Driving license
- Driver’s license issued in your home country
※If you hold a driver's license from Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, or Taiwan, you will need both your domestic driver's license issued by your country and a Japanese translation issued by the embassy/consulate of that country or the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF). The validity period will be one year from the date of entry into Japan, or the validity period of your license, whichever is shorter.

Insurance Coverage
- Bodily injury liability: Unlimited per person
- Property damage liability: Unlimited per accident
- Personal injury compensation: Unlimited per person
- Vehicle coverage: Up to the actual cash value of the vehicle
NOC (Non-Operation Charge)
- If the vehicle can be returned by driving: ¥20,000
- If the vehicle cannot be returned by driving: ¥50,000 Note: Towing fees will be borne by the customer if required.
