*** Important notice Passport number is required when boarding the icebreaker “GARINKO GO Ⅲ”. Be sure to bring your passport with you on the day or write down your passport number in advance. The staff on the day will ask you for your passport number. Please understand that if you cannot provide your passport number, you will not be able to board the ship.
Asahiyama Zoo ☆point1：penguin walk☆ "Penguin Parade" is synonymous with Asahiyama Zoo in winter. You may have a chance to see the penguins walking closer to their original appearance. The penguin walk is only held during the snowy season, and the time schedule is not fixed. So, please understand that you may not able to watch the parade. ☆point2：polar bear☆ Asahiyama Zoo's polar bears are famous for jumping into the pool, but that's because it's hot. Winter is an active season for them! A big white body in a white snowy landscape is cool! ☆point3：Information board in the park☆ There are Information board made by the zoo keepers all over the park. GARINKO GO Ⅲ Sunset cruise A plan with a round-trip bus from Sapporo to Monbetsu and Okhotsk to see the powerful drift ice onboard the latest Garinko III IMERU, which debuted in 2021. This is a special project for this season! ☆What is the icebreaker Garinko III IMERU, one of Hokkaido's heritage sites?☆ Designed for drift ice sightseeing, the ship has a gross tonnage of 370 tons and a capacity of 235 passengers.This icebreaker has air-conditioned guest rooms, vending machines, and a shop, so you can comfortably enjoy drift ice cruising. ☆The highlights of the drift ice icebreaker Garinko Go☆ The sight of the ship's wake moving through the mysterious "drift ice" in Japan's northernmost sea, Okhotsk, is a sight to behold.Forget the cold, forget the time, and indulge in an unknown experience that will leave you awestruck! This is a sunset cruise.

购买须知摘要
This tour is confirmed to run on all scheduled dates. It is guaranteed to run for even one person.
- The announcement will be provided in English/Chinese/Japanese. However, please note that interpretation may be provided via an app.
- You cannot get off at the hotel where you boarded.
- Bus guides and tour conductors will not accompany you, but staff will be on board.
-- About meals -- Lunch and dinner are not included. Lunch is on your own at Asahiyama Zoo. Dinner is also on your own, but there is no place to buy it, so it is recommended that you prepare a light meal such as a sandwich on your own. Or, we have an option to serve the Sea of Okhotsk seafood bento box from (crab or crab and salmon roe rice bowl). We will inform you on the day.
注意事项
- Please refrain from participating on the last day of your trip term as there is no compensation for bus delays.
- Bus arrival may be delayed due to road conditions.
- Please note that there is no guarantee when transportation facilities are terminated. In that case, please note that the tour fee will not be refunded for cancellation on the day.
- Child price is for 3-11 years old.
- Infants (0-2 years old) will be charged JPY 4,500 and a seat will be provided for them. Participation on the lap of companions is not accepted.
Replacement and refund in case of drift ice situation and cancellation of Garinko Please note that you may not be able to see the drift ice depending on the weather and berthing conditions. 1) If the drift ice icebreaker is cancelled due to weather etc. -- Refund of 3,000 yen for adults/2,000 yen for children, and instead a stop at the Okhotsk Drift Ice Science Center "Giza". 2) If we are unable to reach Monbetsu due to road conditions -- Refund of 3,000 yen for adults/2,000 yen for children, and instead a stop at the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival. (Admission fee to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival included)
