★☆ Tateyama Kurobe “Snow Wall Festival” ☆★
When it comes to the spring Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, the globally renowned "Snow Wall" is a highlight!
The "Snow Wall" is a 500-meter section of road near the Murodo Terminal, created by clearing the accumulated snow, forming massive snow walls.
Highlight ①: “Snow Wall Walk”
One of the snowiest areas in the world, Tateyama Murodo-daira reveals towering snow walls reaching up to 20 meters high, known as the "Snow Wall."
The “Snow Wall Walk” event allows you to stroll between these massive walls, experiencing the dramatic contrast of the clear blue sky and the snow-covered landscape—a signature springtime spectacle of the Tateyama Kurobe area.
Highlight ②: “Panorama Road” A snow-covered walking path offering panoramic views of the Tateyama Mountain Range, available only from mid-April to early May. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery from “Panorama Road,” which can only be seen for a brief period before the snow melts. ※Departure on the 20th is not available
Highlight ③: “Snow Corridor”
A corridor formed by clearing snow to connect the rooftop of Murodo Terminal and the Tateyama Nature Conservation Center.
Every year, the snow walls reach heights of over 8 meters in April, rivaling the grandeur of the Snow Wall itself.
Shibazushi lunch box Shibazushi is a famous pressed sushi (Oshizushi) from Kanazawa. It has been a local favorite, traditionally served to people enjoying festivals for generations. ※We do not accommodate dietary restrictions. If you cannot eat the provided meal, please purchase your own lunch
