Visit iconic landmarks and UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace, Todai-ji Temple, Nara Park, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
In Kyoto, immerse yourself in Japan’s rich architectural and cultural heritage. Then travel to Nara to witness the grandeur of Todai-ji Temple, interact with friendly deer in Nara Park, and enjoy a special entry to Kasuga Taisha Shrine’s inner area, featuring historic gates, corridors lined with lanterns, and views of the sacred Kasugayama Primeval Forest.
A vegetarian Indian thali meal prepared without meat will be served for lunch.
- Lunch is an Indian thali vegetarian set: 3 types of curry (bean, vegetable, spinach & potato), Vegetable pakora, Plain yogurt, naan or roti, Indian rice, salad, 1 non-alcoholic drink *Halal, gluten-free, and other special meal requests are not available. Indian and Western-style meals are served in different dining areas.*
This tour also includes smooth transfers between Osaka and Kyoto. In the morning, enjoy a quick and comfortable ride on the Tokaido Shinkansen (non-reserved seat) from Shin-Osaka to Kyoto, guided by a tour assistant.

- Nijo Castle ※ A World Heritage site. This castle was built on the orders of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see (50 min)
- Kinkaku-ji Temple ※ A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond. (40 min)
- Kyoto Imperial Palace ※ See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago. ※ On days when the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine as an alternative destination. This shrine is famous for the god of learning, and its main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.
- Lunch (60 min) ※ An Indian thali set menu will be served.
- Kasuga Taisha Shrine - Main Sanctuary Special Visit ※ This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers. From 2025, the Main Sanctuary special visit area will be newly added to the itinerary. Visitors can get closer to the Main Sanctuary and view the hanging lanterns in the corridor.
- Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha) Nara Park ※ A World Heritage site. This is the symbol of the Nara Period and one of the world's largest wooden structures. Its huge main hall and bronze Great Buddha are impressive to behold.

- For Round-trip from OSAKA plan: Kintetsu Nara Station → Osaka Namba Station (Kintetsu Railway, non - reserved seat) ※ Public transportation will be used on this tour. - The tour may be canceled if the minimum number of participants (1) is not met 4 days before departure.
- For special requests requiring confirmation, please enter details in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.
- Children aged 5 and under may join free of charge but will not be provided a seat or lunch. If either is needed, please book at the child rate.
Itinerary & Destination Notes:
- The itinerary order and arrival times may vary due to road or site conditions.
- When Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed (Mondays or substitute holidays, or during Imperial events), Kitano Tenmangu Shrine will be visited. If this falls on the 25th, Nishi Hongan-ji Temple will be the alternative.
- Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in Jan, Jul, Aug, Dec, and from Dec 26–Jan 3 (or the next day if Tuesday is a holiday). Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
- The walk from the parking lot to Todai-ji Temple takes about 15 minutes one way. Please inform in advance if someone in your group uses a wheelchair, crutches, or has difficulty walking long distances.
- At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, entry to the special Main Sanctuary area is planned. If unavailable due to events or circumstances, the Kasuga Taisha Museum or Manyo Botanical Garden will be visited instead.
- No refunds will be issued for changes to substitute destinations.
- Seat assignments are not available.

- An English-speaking assistant (not a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter) will accompany the tour from Hotel Granvia Osaka to the Sunrise Tours Desk in Kyoto Avanti B1F, and from Kintetsu Nara Station to Osaka Namba Station.
- Depending on the number of tour participants, transportation to be used may be other than a large bus (mid-size bus, small bus), a hired car (van, minivan - MK Co., Ltd. or Yasaka Group), or a taxi.
