Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route One of the most well-known mountain tourist routes in the world, the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route passes through the Northern Alps, a mountain range with peaks rising to a height of 3,000 meters. The total length of the tour is 37.2 km, which is covered by six different vehicles. On this tour you can travel light and worry-free about making difficult connections because you will have an escort with you. You can even leave your bulky luggage on the bus.
A striking wall of snow! Walking in Snowy Valley and Panorama Road Experience the "Snowy Valley Walk" in Murodo, the highest point of the Alpine Route! You will enjoy it during your own walk. Murodo, at an elevation of 2,450 meters, is a particularly heavy snowfall area, and "Yuki-no-Otani" is a 15 to 20 meter-high wall of snow created when the road is cleared of snow. The "Panorama Road," a silver world spreading out on the other side of the wall, is also a spectacular view that can only be seen during this season! 【About Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route】 ■ Departure time from the hotel on the second day will vary depending on the reservation time of the Alpine Route. (Departure from the hotel between 7:00 and 10:00 / Answer on the day) Please note that the arrival time of the hotel on the second night will also depend on the reservation time of the Alpine Route. ■ The Alpine Route may be closed due to inclement weather or other reasons, making it impossible to pass through the route. In such cases, we will refund the amount equivalent to the Alpine Route fare, but please note that this will not apply if the fare is used for an alternative plan, etc. ■ The Snowy Valley Walk will take place in Murodo on the Alpine Route. Upon arrival at Murodo Station, participants will be free to explore the area on their own. ■ Please note that the height of the Snow Valley changes from year to year and also fluctuates during the period. ■ Temperatures in the Murodo area can drop below freezing. Please dress warmly and wear comfortable waterproof walking shoes. Also, please bring sunglasses as the snow in Murodo is very illuminating. ■ The Snow Valley Walk may be cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons. No refunds will be made in such cases. ■ The duration of the Yuki-no-Otani Walk is subject to change. ■ Luggage can be checked in on the bus, but passengers are responsible for managing their own valuables. ■Kurobe Dam's sightseeing water release will start on June 26. ■This tour is a Japanese tour but foreign visitors are also welcome to join. In such cases, an English Speaking Assistant will accompany the tour but please note that the assistant will not provide guided explanations. This is not a private tour, you will enjoy the tour with other guests. We might cancel the tour if we do not have at least 20 participants by 14 days before the scheduled departure. Drinking alcohol on the bus is prohibited.
