Shukugawa Park This peaceful and beautiful park is highly selected as one of the top 100 cherry blossom spots in Japan. There are about 1,300 cherry blossom trees along the crystal-clear river, mainly Yoshino cherry blossoms (Somei-yoshino), but you can also enjoy other unique varieties such as Yamazakura, Oshima-zakura, and Kanzan. It is a lovely place for a relaxing stroll under a beautiful blanket of pink petals.
