The Experience
Shiretoko at night gives you a glimpse of nature's activities that are different from daytime. Tour participants will ride in a car driven by a local guide and travel on a pitch-black road without street lights to the sights. You can see wild animals moving around actively along the way. You can also enjoy the starry sky in fine weather. This tour is not a program to walk around in the forest, so anyone who are 7 years old and over can feel free to join the join-in group tour. If there is under 7 years old, you should take a private tour.
【Language Information】 Our guides are Japanese, and we provide tours in both Japanese and English. We ask for your understanding as English is not their native language. Even if you don't speak Japanese or English, that is completely fine! The guide will use a translator at key spots to make sure you don't miss the highlights. Above all, you will be amazed by the breathtaking forest scenery. We are confident this will be an unforgettable forest walk for you. 【Regarding Pick-up and Drop-off Services】 This itinerary offers pick-up and drop-off at various designated locations. - Voucher will be sent via email. Please show your e-voucher at the designated location.
Purchase Notice
Due to admission restrictions, the tour starting time might be changed. The hotel pick-up time is scheduled to be 1 hour before the tour start time, but please check the email from the tour operator SHINRA for details, which is sent by 1-2 days before the tour date.
This tour is confirmed to run on all scheduled dates. It is guaranteed to run for even one person. *We recommend that you take out personal accident insurance.
There is no toilet during the tour.
When you are late for the meeting place and time on the day, you may not be able to participate in the tour.
Please refrain from using mobile phones during the tour.
Mosquitoes may occur during May to August, so please wear clothes and shoes that do not expose your skin.
We will operate tour even if it rains. Please prepare rain jacket and pants. However, if the organizer decides that the tour can not be safety, it will be cancelled.
- Most of the time you will be traveling in a guide vehicle, but you may be out of the vehicle, so please prepare a warm jacket.
