The sacred Japanese national sport of Sumo has a long history, and admirers all over the globe. However, for many people (Japanese included) it is difficult to grasp the deep meaning of the fights themselves, as well as the rituals involved. Here former professional Sumo wrestlers will teach all there is to know about this sport in English, and visitors can even face them in a (playful) duel. After lunch Tonkatsu Bento(pork cutlets)+ChankoNabe(Japanese-style hotpot made by the wrestlers themselves)watching the show , the sumo experience and the phote taking. This activity will allow participants to get a deep understanding of the Sumo sport, and to interact with wrestlers from close-up.

12:45 Open Meals will be served in order from those who need them. Lunch menu : Japanese pork cutlet and Chanko Nabe, Ice cream, Oolong tea or water
13:20 Event start Sumo wrestling demonstration by former sumo wrestlers basic movements, tori demonstrations, etc.
13:50 Challenge to former sumo wrestlers You can try on a sumo mawashi and a sumo costume.
14:10 Photo session time You can take pictures for each family or group.
14:25 Question time for former sumo wrestlers Rare opportunity to ask them and they will be open to answer any questions!

3.All the seats are assigned according to your booking date which means that your seat is already fixed by the time you arrive. It is not first come, first served. We are grateful to receive so many bookings from around the world and would like to have as many guests as possible to share this experience. To make this happen there might be a possibility of having your table shared with other guests. Also if you are a big group, we might not be able to fit you together in one table.
4.If you have any dietary requests, please let us know at the time of booking or at least one week prior to the date of your participation. We cannot accommodate requests for dietary restrictions or menu changes on the day of the event.
