- A popular Sunrise Tours plan visiting the renowned sights of Kyoto including several World Heritage sites. This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter. The tour will visit Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace, Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Sanjusangen-do Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The course features famous temples, a shrine, a castle, and other majestic places of interest in Kyoto.

Tour from Osaka An assistant will guide the tour during transfers between Osaka and Kyoto. During the transfer in the morning from Osaka to Kyoto, customers can enjoy traveling aboard the Tokaido Shinkansen (non-reserved seat) from Shin-Osaka Station to Kyoto Station.

- Nijo Castle (50 min) ※ A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this castle was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate. The ornate carvings and intricate decor of the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see. ※ The tour does not include entry to the Honmaru Palace or the Painting Gallery.
- Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 Min) ※ A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this wooden structure is covered with thin layers of pure gold and is beautifully surrounded by a serene pond.
- Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 Min) ※ See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which served as the Emperor’s residence until about 150 years ago. ※ On days when the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead (with time to disembark for sightseeing). This shrine is famous for the god of learning, and its main hall is a designated national treasure. It’s especially beautiful during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.
- Lunch Time (60 Min) ※ Lunch Included Option: An Indian thali set menu will be served.
- Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (30 Min) ※ Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of around 40,000 Inari shrines across Japan. Its vibrant red Senbon Torii gates are a must-see attraction.
- Sanjusangen-do Temple (30 Min) ※ Visit the world’s longest wooden structure, home to 1,001 life-sized statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century.
- Kiyomizu-dera Temple (70 min) ※ The view of Kyoto from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu-dera is spectacular. The historic shopping street leading to the temple enhances the overall experience.
- 17:30~18:30 For Round-Trip from Kyoto option: Drop at Kyoto Avanti, in front of Kyoto Station. ※ Please make your way to your next destination from Kyoto Station on your own.
- For the Round-Trip from Osaka Option: Take a train from Kyoto Station back to Osaka Station via JR Special Rapid Service or Rapid Service (non-reserved seat). ※ This tour uses public transportation, and all trains have non-reserved seating. Please note that seats are not guaranteed. ※ You will be accompanied by a tour assistant from Kyoto Station to Osaka Station. ※ The tour will end at Osaka Station.

- On the day of the tour, a health check and temperature screening will be conducted. Those with a temperature of 37.5 and above as well as those who do not feel well may not be allowed to participate.

Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Meals
- Lunch will be an Indian thali set menu suitable for vegetarians. Please check the following for details. 3 kinds of curry (bean curry, vegetable curry, spinach and potato curry), vegetable pakora (Indian-style vegetable tempura), plain yogurt, naan or roti, rice (Indian rice), salad, 1 serving of non-alcoholic drink
- Halal, gluten-free, and other meal requests are not available.
- Please note that customers will be guided to a dining facility separate from the Western-style lunch dining area.
- On the day of the tour, the meal cannot be changed to a Western-style lunch.

The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. If the closed day falls on the 25th, the tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple. (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event)
Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions.
Connections from this tour can be made to the "Kyoto Maiko Dinner" and "Kyoto Night Tour."
Participants will walk from the parking lot to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (about 15 min one-way). Thank you for your understanding.
The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.

Tour from Osaka:
- The tour will be accompanied by an English-speaking assistant (not a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter) on the outbound trip from Hotel Granvia Osaka to the Sunrise Tours Desk in Kyoto Avanti B1F, and on the return trip from Kyoto Station to Osaka Station.
