The Experience

  1. Visit the 5th Station or the highest point accessible on Mt. Fuji, Japan's iconic peak registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour will also visit Hakone, popular for its beautiful scenery, where customers can experience a lake cruise and cable car ride and fully enjoy the majestic nature of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.
  1. Through explanations from the National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter accompanying this tour, customers can learn about history, nature, and other features of the region treasured by tour destinations. Customers can also contribute to protecting and nurturing the local region.
  1. Transportation

Return by Shinkansen Plan: Enjoy the tour comfortably aboard an air-conditioned bus on the outbound trip, and aboard the Shinkansen, Japan's pride, from Odawara Station on the return trip.

Return by Bus Plan: Enjoy the tour comfortably aboard an air-conditioned bus on the outbound trip.

Return by Bus (to Shinjuku) Plan: After sightseeing in Hakone, the tour will return to Shinjuku by bus.

Tour Ends at Odawara Station Plan: The tour ends upon arrival at Odawara Station. (The bus will drop off participants at Odawara Station before heading back to Shinjuku.)

  1. Lunch & Performance

With Lunch Plan: For lunch, a Japanese-style meal prepared with ingredients from the local region will be served. There are also vegetarian, Muslim-friendly, and Indian thali meals from which customers can choose (includes tea or coffee). Midway, watch a Japanese drum performance by Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai1 and enjoy one of Japan's traditional performing arts. Due to facility circumstances, there will be a change in the lunch venue and menu from May 25 (Mon.) to June 20 (Sat.), 2026. (Japanese-style meal or buffet; only tea will be served for drinks.)

No Lunch Plan: Lunch is not included. Please have lunch on your own. (Depending on the operation, the lunch location may be at the foot of Mt. Fuji or in the Hakone area.)   • Tour bookings may be made until departure on the day of the tour.
  • If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, or due to other operational management circumstances, the tour on that date may be canceled.
  • For requests regarding tours where answers from the tour operator are required in advance, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.

Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations

  • The departure and arrival times and time to be spent at destinations written on the itinerary are an estimate. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
  • Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
  • Important Notes: On a typical year, the 5th Station may be visited from around late April to November, but during - the winter months (around December to early April), the Fuji Subaru Line will be closed due to snowfall, road surface freezing, etc.
  • If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, or if there is inclement weather and the company has determined that views may not be seen from Mt. Fuji 4th Station and 5th Station, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities.
  • Alternative Facilities: Fujisan Museum, Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park, Fujisan World Heritage Center, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Oshino Hakkai
  • If the Lake Ashi Cruise and Komagatake Ropeway are not operating due to weather conditions, or if stops cannot be made due to road conditions and congestion at sightseeing destinations, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities. The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.

GPS-enabled audio guides in Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Thai, French, and Indonesian may be used while on board a dedicated vehicle. Please indicate your preferred language in the free entry field at the time of reservation. Same-day requests are not accepted. There are a limited number of audio guides available, so it may not be possible to provide one for each participant. Also, no refunds will be issued even if the audio guide is unusable due to weak signal, device issues, Wi-Fi malfunction, etc. Furthermore, they may be unusable if there are changes to the itinerary.

As there are locations to be visited on this tour such as Mt. Fuji 5th Station, etc. with lower temperatures compared to Tokyo, bringing warm clothing is recommended. (Reference: Even in the daytime, temperatures may drop to 14℃ in summer and -5℃ in winter.)
