A Unique Experience: Sumo Morning Training Tour in Tokyo! Sumo wrestling is Japan's highly popular national sport with a long tradition. In this activity participants get to see the training of active, professional wrestler, and get the chance to take a group picture with them in the end. Usually most people only get to see the athletes from far away during the tournaments. However, here they can be seen from up close! This makes a more in-depth experience possible, and should not be missed.
*All Sumo Stables are located in the Tokyo area.
*After a reservation is processed successfully, participants will wait a little. When the meeting place Address and time details are confirmed (2-3 days before participation day), a final voucher and a Rules for Sumo Morning Training Visit will all necessary information will be send.
Price for 2 or more participants Normal Season : ¥ 11,000 Peak Season (April) : ¥ 14,000
Price for 1 Participant Normal Season : ¥ 13,000 Peak Season (April) : ¥ 16,000

- Children up to 3 years old are free of charge; fees apply from 4 years old. (Children themselves are not allowed to participate this plan.)
- The pickup location for the shuttle option is limited to hotels within the 23 wards of Tokyo.
- The Driver for the transfer option will be a Japanese-speaking driver.

Important Notes for Sumo Practice Viewing
- Do not enter the Sumo Room without permission. Staff will be waiting outside the entrance to give you instructions.
- A guide will explain the practice flow at the entrance, but training itself is conducted in Japanese.
- The schedule may change depending on the wrestlers’ condition. Please understand that wrestlers may leave midway; in that case, no photography is allowed.
- Viewing time during tournament periods is shorter (about 30 minutes) and training is lighter.
- Please show respect at all times. Refrain from talking, making noise, or disturbing the practice.
- You will be seated on the floor while observing the practice. Sitting with legs stretched out is not allowed.
- Please sit in cross-legged position, kneeling (seiza), or with knees up and bottom on the floor (school sitting style).
- Regarding chair requests: For elderly guests or those who have difficulty sitting on the floor due to physical reasons, chairs can be arranged if requested in advance. However, please note that depending on the sumo stable, chairs may not be available. Requests on the day will not be accepted under any circumstances, so please confirm beforehand.
- Seat order is not based on arrival time and cannot be reserved.
- Phones must be off or in silent mode. No calls allowed during viewing.
- Photography is allowed, but no flash. Video recording is strictly prohibited. If you are found recording videos even once, you will be asked to leave. Some stables may prohibit photography altogether.
- Large baggage is not allowed.
- For children: guardians must ensure they follow the rules. If a child is disruptive, you may be asked to leave.
- Rules may vary depending on the stable. Always follow the instructions of the on-site staff and refrain from acting independently.
- Guests who do not follow the above rules may be asked to leave.
- If you leave before the end of the tour, you cannot take photos at the end.
- Please note that refunds cannot be made if you leave in the middle of the session.
