Autumn Leaves Illumination in Hida no Sato Experience a truly enchanting autumn at Hida no Sato Village's special illumination event. Witness a breathtaking collaboration as vibrant autumn leaves are magically lit up alongside traditional Gassho-Zukuri farmhouses, creating a unique and stunning visual harmony. As you wander through the village, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time, immersed in a nostalgic, fairytale-like atmosphere where precious historic buildings are beautifully highlighted against the backdrop of brilliantly colored foliage. This enchanting nightscape transforms Hida no Sato Village into a dreamlike setting, inviting you into a scene straight out of an old Japanese folktale.
Takayama Old Street The houses and the buildings are all traditional, especially in its Old Town. You can go for a walk around the area and admire the architecture and its historical landmarks, like the Higashiyama Walk and the Takayama Jinya. You’ll be given some free time to have lunch in the city, so make sure to bring some cash and try out dishes made using top grade Hida Beef. Shirakawa-go, on the other hand, is known for the numerous gassho zukuri houses that are lined up all around it. These houses are over a hundred years old and their design is said to look like the clasped hands of monks in prayer. - This is not a private tour, you will enjoy the tour with other guests together.
- We might cancel the tour if we do not have at least 20 participants by 14 days before the scheduled departure.
