A long-established brewery with around 200 years of history, famous for its premium Nigori (cloudy) sake. The brewery itself is recognized as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan, serving as a classic example of Meiji-era architecture that beautifully preserves the historic townscape. 【Shiraki Kousuke Shoten (Shiraki Kousuke Sake Brewery)】
Founded in the late Edo period, this brewery is renowned for its aged sake (Koshu). The maturation process brings out a rich, mellow flavor packed with the natural sweetness of rice, accompanied by stunning golden and deep ruby hues. Signature bottles like the "3-Year Aged Sake" and their crafted Umeshu (plum liqueur) are smooth, easy to drink, and highly recommended even for those new to Japanese sake.
