TOKYU SNOW RESORT SKIJAM Katsuyama is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan, famous for its impressive snowfall and wide play areas. After enjoying fun in the snow, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Gassho-style villages, beautifully illuminated in the snowy night.
10:00: Depart from Kanazawa Station – Your Snow Adventure Begins!
Depart from Kanazawa by private vehicle. Sit back and relax as you enjoy the scenic winter landscapes of Hokuriku on the way to SKIJAM Katsuyama.
11:30–15:30: TOKYU SNOW RESORT SKIJAM Katsuyama
Enjoy free time after arrival! Experience the excitement of one of Japan’s largest snow parks:
- Play in the snowy area or go sledding
- Ride the lift and take photos with the stunning view of Katsuyama City
At the souvenir shop, find:
- Popular boxed sweets
- Local specialties
- Original snacks unique to the resort
At the restaurants, savor:
- Fukui local dishes
- Crepes and ice cream (Meals and purchases are at your own expense)
18:30: Gokayama Light-Up Event
Visit the light-up event at the Ainokura and Suganuma Gassho-style villages, both registered as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Enjoy the nostalgic beauty of Japan illuminated against the snow — a magical, unforgettable sight found only here.
20:30: Return to Kanazawa Station

- The following are not included in the tour price: lunch, ski/snowboard lift tickets, rental equipment (wear, skis, boots, etc.), travel insurance, and personal expenses such as souvenirs. Please purchase or rent these items on-site as needed.
- The type of vehicle will be arranged based on the number of participants.
- Please prepare your own ski wear, gloves, hat, and goggles in advance. Rental options are also available at the resort.
- The itinerary may change or be shortened depending on weather or road conditions. Thank you for your understanding.
- Participants are responsible for their own safety during skiing or snowboarding activities. Please enjoy safely.
Tour Operation
- The tour will operate with a minimum of 6 participants.
- Tour confirmation will be sent approximately 3 days before the departure date.
- If the minimum number of participants is not met 3 days before the tour, it may be canceled. In that case, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered via email to the contact provided at booking.
Additional Notes
- Please arrive at the meeting point with sufficient time before departure.
- An English-speaking driver will accompany the tour.
- Please note that no English guide is included.
- You will have free time at the ski resort. Meals, rentals, and purchases should be settled individually.
- Please follow the driver’s instructions for the meeting time after free time. If you are late for the designated meeting time, you may miss the return transfer.
