  • Nagano Prefecture’s Achi Village was once ranked No. 1 in Japan as the place where the stars shine most brightly by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment (※1). Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the village is protected from light pollution, allowing you to enjoy a breathtakingly clear, star-filled sky.

  • During the Starry Sky Night Tour, ride a gondola up to the mountaintop at an altitude of 1,400 m. During the star-gazing session, all lights at the venue are switched off, revealing countless stars that seem close enough to touch. Enjoy a magical starry sky experience unlike anything you can experience in the city!

※1) In 2006, Achi Village was selected as No. 1 among locations suitable for stargazing in the Ministry of the Environment’s nationwide Star Watching Network survey. It also received the Minister of the Environment Award (Group Award) at the 29th Nagano Prefecture Minamimaki Village Competition in 2017.

Temperatures at the mountaintop can be extremely cold due to the high altitude. Please prepare warm clothing. Stargazing takes place while seated on the grass. We recommend bringing a mat or ground sheet to sit on.

A Magical Collaboration of 1 Million Soap Bubbles & the Starry Sky

  • This special event features a spectacular soap bubble show, with 1 million soap bubbles floating across the night sky!
  • Enjoy a one-of-a-kind magical world created by the breathtaking starry sky of Achi Village, Nagano, renowned as a place where the stars shine brightest according to Japan’s Ministry of the Environment, combined with countless soap bubbles sparkling in the light.
  • Featuring Awabito, a popular professional soap bubble performance group! Experience a spectacular night sky filled with dazzling lights and countless shimmering bubbles.

Create Your Own Starry Sky Lantern

  • As a special bonus exclusively for this event, you’ll receive a DIY Starry Sky Handheld Lantern Kit
  • With its cute and charming design, simply light up the star and moon patterns while strolling through the highlands at night. The lantern creates a magical atmosphere and makes for the perfect photo opportunity!
  • Enjoy the exclusive HIS private event with your very own Starry Sky Lantern in hand.

Included: Starry Sky Lantern Kit (LED light and batteries included)

※ The lantern can be assembled easily without glue, scissors, or a cutter, making it safe and convenient to create.

Yumori Valley: Surrounded by overwhelming natural beauty

Along the walking paths around Ryujin Falls within the valley, you can enjoy a scenic walk taking in the autumn foliage and crystal-clear streams while visiting Ryujin Shrine, Momiji Bridge, and the visitor center. Designated as one of Gifu Prefecture’s famous waters, Ryujin Falls is legend to be home to a white dragon, with its waters rumored to change color seven times a day. The pure, crystal-clear water and cobalt-blue waterfall basin create an atmosphere of deep mystery and beauty!

Magome-juku: Tour-Exclusive Special Dinner

Step into Magome-juku, a nostalgic world that feels as if you’ve traveled back in time. Along the stone-paved slope, the town is lined with shops selling freshly baked rice crackers, oyaki, gohei mochi, and souvenirs—making it a perfect spot for strolling and enjoying local snacks. Escape the everyday routine, feel the gentle breeze, and enjoy a relaxing time away from the city in this post town filled with nostalgic charm.

Menu ・Shinshu Apple Beef ・Yubunesawa Salmon Sashimi ・Matsutake Mushroom Chawanmushi (Savory Egg Custard) ・Soba Noodles ・Chestnut Rice (Upgraded from regular white rice!) ・Miso Soup & Japanese Pickles

☆“Shinshu Beef raised on apples” features melting tenderness, along with a smooth, sweet flavor and rich aroma. Meat quality, fat quality, and marbling are the three key elements in selecting fine beef—and "Shinshu Beef raised on apples" balances all three to perfection.
