Before You Book

• This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour.
• Tour bookings may be made until 4 days prior to the tour. Please make a reservation through the system by the reservation deadline.
• If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 14 days before the scheduled date, or due to other operational management circumstances, the tour on that date may be canceled.
• For requests regarding tours where answers from the tour operator are required in advance, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.
• Refunds for the return trip Shinkansen ticket will not be issued even if the passenger has a Japan Rail Pass. Please book the plan without JR ticket included.

Tour Conditions & Important Notes

Operation Conditions/Tour Conditions

• The guide will accompany the tour on Day 1 up until the taxi boarding location (Hakone-en or a different location).
• On Day 2, customers will be traveling and sightseeing on their own. Admission fees, transportation expenses other than the return trip Shinkansen ticket, a tour guide, etc. are not included on the tour.
• As non-reserved seats will be used on the Day 2 Shinkansen, customers may board a Shinkansen departing at their preferred time.

Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations

• The departure and arrival times and time to be spent at destinations written on the itinerary are an estimate. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
• Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
• Important Notes: On a typical year, the 5th Station may be visited from around late April to November, but during the winter months (around December to early April), the Fuji Subaru Line will be closed due to snowfall, road surface freezing, etc.
• If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, or if there is inclement weather and the company has determined that views may not be seen from Mt. Fuji 4th Station and 5th Station, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities. Alternative Facilities: Fujisan Museum, Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park, Fujisan World Heritage Center, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Oshino Hakkai
• If the Lake Ashi Cruise and Komagatake Ropeway are not operating due to weather conditions, or if stops cannot be made due to road conditions and congestion at sightseeing destinations, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities. The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason. Alternative Facilities: Appare Sightseeing Boat on Lake Kawaguchi, Swan Lake Cruise Ship on Lake Yamanaka, Hakone Pirate Ship, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Jukkokutoge Panoramic Cable Car, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Fujiyama Museum, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone en Aquarium, Ninja Bus, Oshino Shinobi no Sato, Hakone Checkpoint, Odawara Castle, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, Higashiguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine, Oshino Hakkai, Hakone Shrine, Hakone Sekisho Tabimonogatarikan (Shop), Owakudani
• The taxi boarding location is Hakone-en, but may be changed to another location depending on ferry operation status, etc. If changed, customers will be informed of the taxi boarding location on the day. Thank you for your understanding.

Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Children/Infants

• Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats or lunch. If bus seats or lunch is required, please make a booking under the child rate.
• If there are more than 2 children booked as Infant accompanying one Adult or Child customer, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.

Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Meals

• When booking, please indicate the number of customers requesting vegetarian meals, Muslim-friendly meals, or Indian thali meals (please indicate even when there are no requests). Muslim-friendly Meals: A menu that does not use pork or alcohol will be provided. Please note that these are not halal certified. Indian Thali Meals: A vegetarian menu that does not use meat and fish will be served
• Please note that requests for allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc., or requests to remove or change ingredients due to personal preferences are not accepted. Customers with allergies and those who would like gluten-free meals should reserve the tour without lunch included.
• During the meal, there will be a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, one of Japan's traditional arts performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai.*1 Please note that the tour may not be able to view the performance in case of arrival being considerably delayed due to road conditions, or the tour is unable to reach the intended meal venue. Furthermore, depending on the circumstances of the facility, the performance may be canceled without prior notice. (*1 It has been attracting attention both domestically and internationally as a support for social independence training and artistic activities. By sending customers, Sunrise Tours can create performance opportunities and support their activities.)

Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Audio Guide

• GPS-enabled audio guides in Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Thai, French, and Indonesian may be used while on board a dedicated vehicle. Please indicate your preferred language in the free entry field at the time of reservation. Same-day requests are not accepted.
• There are a limited number of audio guides available, so it may not be possible to provide one for each participant.
• Also, no refunds will be issued even if the audio guide is unusable due to weak signal, device issues, Wi-Fi malfunction, etc. Furthermore, they may be unusable if there are changes to the itinerary.

• Depending on the number of tour participants, transportation to be used may be other than a large bus (mid-size bus, small bus, hired car, etc.).

Important Notes/Supplements: What to Wear/Bring

• As there are locations to be visited on this tour such as Mt. Fuji 5th Station, etc. with lower temperatures compared to Tokyo, bringing warm clothing is recommended. (Reference: Even in the daytime, temperatures may drop to 14℃ in summer and -5℃ in winter.)
