The Experience
- Visit the 5th Station or the highest point accessible on Mt. Fuji, Japan's iconic peak registered as a World Heritage Site. The tour will also visit Hakone, popular for its beautiful scenery, where customers can experience a lake cruise and cable car ride and feel the majestic nature of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.

- Lake Ashi Cruise At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. - Hakone Komagatake Ropeway Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi spread out below. *The tour may be guided to an alternative destination if the Komagatake Ropeway operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc.
- Hakone-en Customers that descend Mt. Komagatake early can stop by the souvenir corner at the foot of the mountain. *Depending on time management, and if the order of tour destinations was changed, there may not be time to purchase souvenirs at Hakone-en. The National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter will be accompanying the tour up to this point. If the itinerary order was changed, the tour may be accompanied by the guide up to Motohakone.

Operation Conditions/Tour Conditions
- This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour.
- Tour bookings may be made until 4 days prior to the tour. Please make a reservation through the system by the reservation deadline.
- If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 14 days before the scheduled date, or due to other operational management circumstances, the tour on that date may be canceled.
- For requests regarding tours where answers from the tour operator are required in advance, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.
- The guide will accompany the tour on Day 1 up until the taxi boarding location (Hakone-en or a different location).
- On Day 2, customers will be traveling and sightseeing on their own. Admission fees, transportation expenses (other than the return trip Shinkansen ticket for With JR Plan), a tour guide, etc. are not included on the tour.
With JR Plan Only As non-reserved seats will be used on the Day 2 Shinkansen, customers may board a Shinkansen departing at their preferred time.
With JR Plan Only Refunds for the return trip Shinkansen ticket will not be issued even if the passenger has a Japan Rail Pass. Please book the plan without JR ticket included.
Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations
- The departure and arrival times and time to be spent at destinations written on the itinerary are an estimate. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
- Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
Important Notes: On a typical year, the 5th Station may be visited from around late April to November, but during the winter months (around December to early April), the Fuji Subaru Line will be closed due to snowfall, road surface freezing, etc.
If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, or if there is inclement weather and the company has determined that views may not be seen from Mt. Fuji 4th Station and 5th Station, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities. Alternative Facilities: Fujisan Museum, Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park, Fujisan World Heritage Center, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Oshino Hakkai
- If the Lake Ashi Cruise and Komagatake Ropeway are not operating due to weather conditions, or if stops cannot be made due to road conditions and congestion at sightseeing destinations, the tour will be guided to any of the following alternative facilities. About Day 1 Bus Tour
- When booking, please indicate the number of customers requesting vegetarian meals, Muslim-friendly meals, or Indian thali meals (please indicate even when there are no requests). Muslim-friendly Meals: A menu that does not use pork or alcohol will be provided. Please note that these are not halal certified. Indian Thali Meals: A vegetarian menu that does not use meat and fish will be served.
- Allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc. are not available. Customers with allergies and those that would like gluten-free meals should reserve the tour without lunch included.
- During the meal, there will be a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, one of Japan's traditional arts performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai.1 Please note that the tour may not be able to view the performance in case arrival is considerably delayed due to road conditions, or the tour is unable to reach the intended meal venue. What to Wear/Bring

Regarding Luggage on Shinkansen
